Turn on vacation mode

Vacation mode pauses orders while you're away. Turn it on in Settings → Shop → Shop status. Your shop and listings stay online, but buyers can't purchase until you turn it off. Only the shop owner can change it.

Turn it on

1. Open Settings in the seller hub.
2. Stay on the Shop tab and find Shop status.
3. Next to Vacation mode ("Pause orders while you're away."), tick Put {your shop name} on vacation.

It saves right away and you see "Vacation mode is on. Buyers can see your shop but can't purchase right now." A banner at the top of Settings also says "Vacation mode is on."

Turn it off

Untick the same box. You'll see "Welcome back. Buyers can purchase from your shop again." Everything returns to normal right away: your listings come back to every page and buyers can buy again. There's no end date to set, so turn it off when you're back.

What buyers see while it's on

• Your shop page stays up with a note: "{Your shop} is on vacation. You can browse, but you can't purchase right now." The Request a custom order button is hidden.
• Your listing pages stay up. The buy buttons are replaced with "{Your shop} is on vacation. You can't purchase this right now."
• Carts and checkout won't accept your items. Buyers need to remove them first. See Why can't I check out?
• Favorites still show your listings for buyers who saved them.

Where your listings are hidden

Your listings leave category pages, trending pages and other browse lists while vacation mode is on, and your shop is hidden from shop lists and the home page's shops. They come back as soon as you turn it off. See Why can't I find a file or shop?

Your shop and listing pages stay online so they keep their place in search. Search engines see them marked as out of stock.
