Add an About section to your shop

Add your shop story in Seller hub → Settings → Shop, under Shop profile. Your saved story creates an About section below your listings, with optional owner details and photos.

Write and save your story

Fill in the About fields:

1. Enter your story in About your shop, up to 3,000 characters. Explain what you make and how you work.
2. As the owner, optionally enter Your name, up to 60 characters. Buyers see it labeled Owner.
3. Optionally enter Based in, up to 60 characters, such as your city and state.
4. Select Save About below Based in.

The story, name and location save together. Discard restores their saved values. Neither button saves an unfinished photo caption.

Use plain text. Links, email addresses and phone numbers aren't allowed in the story, name, location or captions. Buyers can message you through Esano instead.

Add photos and captions

Under Photos, add up to three images of your workspace, process or finished projects:

1. Select Add photo in the next empty slot.
2. Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image up to 10 MB.
3. Crop it and select Use crop.
4. Wait for Esano's upload check to finish. If the check shows Ready, select Finish saving.
5. Optionally enter a caption, up to 80 characters, and select Save caption.

Photos use a 4:3 crop. The recommended size is 1600 × 1200 px, and the crop must be at least 800 × 600 px. Images can be up to 40 megapixels.

A photo uploads independently of Save About. Each Save caption saves only that caption, not unsaved story or location edits. Captions describe the image for accessibility; they aren't displayed as text below the public photos.

Use Replace to choose another image or Remove to remove a photo. Removing it also clears its caption.

Check what buyers see

Select Preview your shop, or View shop in the sidebar. The header's About the shop link jumps to the section below your listings. It appears on each numbered shop page.

Buyers see your story, approved photos and any saved public name and location. They also see when you joined Esano and a message button. Your legal name, private phone number and other seller details aren't copied into this section.

A saved story is required. To hide the whole About section, clear About your shop and select Save About. Optional details and photos don't display without a story.

The story can also supply the shop page description in search results. It doesn't guarantee a ranking or the wording a search engine chooses.
