Add or edit your shop tagline

Your tagline is one line under your shop name. Add or edit it in Settings → Shop → Shop profile → Tagline. It can be up to 80 characters. The shop owner and Managers can change it.

Edit your tagline

1. Open Settings in the seller hub.
2. Stay on the Shop tab.
3. Under Shop profile, find Tagline.
4. Type your tagline. The counter shows how many of 80 characters you've used, like "42 / 80".
5. Select Save tagline. You'll see "Tagline saved."

Save tagline and Discard appear once you change the text. Discard puts back the saved tagline.

To remove your tagline, clear the field and select Save tagline.

Where your tagline shows

Your tagline appears under your shop name at the top of your shop page. It's also used at the start of the description search engines may show for your shop page. See how shoppers find your shop.

Write a good tagline

Say what you make in plain words, the way a buyer would search for it. The example in the field is "Hand-painted watercolor clip art."

• Name the kind of files you sell.
• Mention your style or theme.
• Skip all caps and extra symbols.
• Keep it short enough to read at a glance.

Who can edit it

Only the owner and Managers can edit the tagline. Team members with the Listings or Support role don't see Settings. See Shop team roles and what each can do.
