Every listing needs one category before it can go live. You can also add up to 13 search keywords, up to 10 apps in Works with, and place the listing in your shop groups. All four are in the Details section of the editor.
Choose a category
The help text under Category says it "decides where buyers find it on Esano."
- Open your listing from Seller hub → Listings.
- In Details, open the Category menu, which starts at Choose a category.
- Select one of the 15 categories, then select Save changes.
Not sure which one fits? Choose the right category and file details lists all 15 and explains how to pick between two.
You can save a draft without a category. Publish refuses until you pick one: "Choose a category before publishing. It decides where buyers find the listing." A live listing can't lose its category.
Add search keywords
Search keywords are optional. The help text reads: "Words buyers might search for, separated by commas. Up to 13. Not shown as shop filters." The example in the field is retro, cats, sublimation.
- Separate keywords with commas. Duplicates are removed.
- Use no more than 13, and no more than 400 characters in total. Otherwise you'll see "Up to 13 short keywords."
- Keep each one short. Think of what a buyer would type. For which words to pick, see choose search keywords for a listing.
List the apps it works with
Works with is optional. Enter apps that open the files, separated by commas, for example Procreate, Photoshop, Canva. You can list up to 10, with at most 300 characters in total. Buyers see them on the listing page as "Works with" followed by your list.
Add shop groups
Shop groups are optional. They let buyers filter your shop. The editor's example is "Snowman".
- In Details, find Shop groups.
- Tick the groups this listing belongs to.
- To create a new one, type a name in the box and press Enter. The field shows how many of your 10 groups exist.
- Select Save changes.
A shop can have up to 10 groups, and a listing can be in several. To manage your groups, select Manage groups, which opens your shop settings. See create and manage shop groups. You can also add or remove a group for many listings at once from the listings page. See add listings to shop groups and find and filter your listings.

Common questions
How many search keywords can I add?
Up to 13, separated by commas. All of them together can be at most 400 characters.
Can a listing be in more than one category?
No. Each listing has one category. Use search keywords and your title to cover related terms.
Are search keywords the same as shop groups?
No. Search keywords help buyers find a listing. Shop groups let buyers filter your own shop, and keywords are not shown as shop filters.
