Everything you list must follow Esano's content standards and you must have the right to sell it. Esano delivers the files you upload, and listing descriptions are plain text, so web addresses in them are not clickable links.
Content standards
The Terms of Use apply to every product on Esano and to what users post. Everything must follow the law and must not:
- Be defamatory, obscene, indecent, abusive, offensive, harassing, violent, hateful, inflammatory or otherwise objectionable.
- Promote sexually explicit material, violence, or discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age.
- Infringe a patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other right of someone else.
- Violate the legal rights of others, including privacy and publicity rights.
- Be likely to deceive anyone.
- Promote illegal activity.
- Impersonate a person or misrepresent who you are or who you work with.
- Give the impression that Esano or anyone else endorses them, when that isn't true.
- Involve contests, sweepstakes, other sales promotions, barter or advertising, except as a retailer Esano has authorized.
The full text is in the Terms of Use. A plain-language summary is in what's not allowed on Esano.
Only list what you have the right to sell
You confirm that you own, or have the rights to sell, every file you list. Copied, traced or trademarked artwork needs permission. See copyright and original work rules for sellers and can you sell fan art or licensed characters?.
What kinds of files you can sell
Esano is for digital files such as creative and craft files, documents, fonts, 3D models and templates. Audio, movies, videos and software products aren't sold on Esano. The formats Esano accepts are in file types you can sell, and how files are checked is in how Esano scans your files for viruses.
Links in listings
- Descriptions: the text shows as plain paragraphs. A web address you type isn't clickable. Esano's terms don't list a separate rule on links in descriptions, so the content standards above are what apply. Anything you write, including any address, must be honest and follow them.
- Photos: photos must be JPG, PNG or WebP images. See listing photo requirements.
- Downloads: buyers receive files you upload to the listing, up to 5 files per listing. Each is checked before buyers can get it. The editor has no place to add a download link to another site. Custom orders work the same way: delivering through an external link isn't supported and the message says "External delivery links are not supported. Upload files for checking."
Describe your listing accurately
Buyers can ask for a refund within seven days of a ready-made purchase when the product is materially misdescribed. Write what's really in the download, in the sizes and formats you list. See Esano's refund policy for digital files.
If Esano removes a listing
Esano may remove listings that break its policies, and may pause shops that repeatedly do. A removed listing shows Removed by Esano with the reason when there is one, and it can't be published again. See what listing statuses mean.
If you have a question about a removal, email customerservice@esano.com or visit Contact us. To ask Esano to look again, see appeal a suspension or removal.
Common questions
Can I link to my own website in a listing description?
You can type an address, but it shows as plain text and doesn't become a clickable link. Esano's terms don't have a separate rule for links, but every listing must follow the content standards.
Can I deliver a file as a link to another site?
No. Buyers download files you upload to the listing, and Esano checks each one. There is no field for an outside download link.
What happens if Esano removes my listing?
It shows Removed by Esano with a reason and can't be published again.
