Choose the category buyers would browse to find your file, then fill in Dimensions and DPI so the resolution filter can find you. A listing has exactly one category, and it is required to publish.
The categories
Esano has 15 categories:
- PNG & Sublimation
- SVG & Cut Files
- Clip Art
- Printable Wall Art
- Planners & Printables
- Templates
- Digital Paper
- Stickers
- Textures & Backgrounds
- Wallpapers
- Icons
- Stock Photos
- Mockups
- Embroidery
- Fonts and Alphabets
Each one has its own page, such as PNG & Sublimation, which lists live listings newest first.
What the category affects
- Where buyers browse to it. The category page lists your listing, and the category appears in the listing's breadcrumb trail.
- Search. The words of your category name are part of what search reads, at a lower weight than your title and search keywords.
- The category filter. Buyers can narrow search results and shop pages to one category.
- Suggestions. Category names are offered as search phrases when someone types in the search box.
Choose between two categories
- Think about what a buyer is making. A sublimation design for tumblers fits PNG & Sublimation. A file for a cutting machine fits SVG & Cut Files.
- Pick the category that matches the main use, not every possible use.
- Put the other use in your title or search keywords, for example "Pumpkin clip art, also for sublimation".
The editor says the category "decides where buyers find it on Esano." Choose it under Category, in the Details section below Title. For every field in that section, see Set a listing's category, keywords and groups.
Fill in file details for filters
Buyers can narrow any browse page or search with All filters. Three of them depend on your listing's details:
- File type. Esano detects the formats in your files automatically. For a ZIP, it uses the file types inside.
- Resolution. This uses your Dimensions and DPI:
- 4K and up is an image (PNG, JPG, WEBP or TIFF) whose longest side is 3840 pixels or more, or whose size says 4K or 8K.
- Print-ready (300 DPI) is an image or PDF with a DPI of 300 or higher.
- Web size is an image that is neither of those.
- On sale. This needs an Original price that is higher than your Price. See Set a price and run a sale on a listing.
Fonts, 3D models, documents, SVG-only listings and embroidery designs don't appear under any resolution option.
Esano reads the dimensions from your files when it can and asks you to check them. Enter dimensions the way the editor shows them, for example 4000 × 4000 px, so the pixel size can be read. Enter the DPI as a whole number from 72 to 1200. For the full field list, see Add dimensions, DPI and color space to a listing.
See File types you can sell on Esano for supported file types.
Common questions
Can a listing be in more than one category?
No. Each listing has one category, so choose the one that matches the main way a buyer would look for it.
Why doesn't my listing show under the Print-ready filter?
Print-ready needs a DPI of 300 or more on an image or PDF listing. If DPI is blank or lower, the listing doesn't match.
Will my ZIP show under a file type filter?
Yes, by the files inside it. A ZIP of PNGs shows under PNG. ZIP itself is never a filter choice.
