Add a listing to a shop group by ticking the group in the listing editor, or select several listings and use Add shop group. Buyers can then filter your shop by that group.
Add one listing to groups
- In your seller hub, open Listings and open the listing.
- Find Shop groups (marked Optional).
- Tick each group the listing belongs in.
- Select Save changes.
Selecting Publish saves what's on the page first, so your group choices are kept. For the rest of the editor, see edit a listing.
Create a new group while you edit
- In the box under Shop groups, type a new name.
- Press Enter, or select Add.
The group is created right away and ticked for this listing. Names can be up to 24 characters and a shop can have 10 groups. When all 10 are in use, the editor says "You're using all 10 shop groups" and links to Settings so you can make room. See create and manage shop groups.
Add many listings at once
- Go to Listings.
- Select the listings you want. A bar appears showing how many are selected.
- Open Add shop group and pick a group.
You'll see a message such as "Added" the group name "to" a number of listings.
Remove listings from a group
- Select the listings on the Listings page.
- Open Remove shop group. It lists only groups the selected listings are in.
- Pick a group.
To remove one listing, untick the group in its editor and select Save changes.
Find listings by group
On the Listings page, use the Shop group filter. Pick a group, or Ungrouped to see listings that aren't in any group. For the other filters, see search, filter and sort your listings. In Settings → Shop, selecting a group's listing count opens the Listings page filtered to that group.
What buyers see
Groups appear as tabs on your shop page next to All items, and each listing page shows "Browse [shop name] by group". Groups are shown in the order you set. Groups with no items are greyed out. See how your shop page looks to buyers.
Who can do this
Owners, Managers and Listings members can add listings to groups. Support members can't, because the Listings page isn't part of their role. See shop team roles and what each can do.
