What listing statuses mean

Every listing has a status badge in the Status column and at the top of its editor. There are five: Live, Draft, Hidden, Needs new file and Removed by Esano.

Live

The listing is published and buyers can find and buy it. The row shows its sales count, and the row menu offers View on Esano and Unpublish.

Draft

Only you can see the listing. In the editor the status line says "Only you can see this draft." Drafts can be incomplete. A draft that is still missing something shows Missing: and a list under its title on the Listings page, for example "Missing: photos, title, category, price". To go live, see publish a listing.

Hidden

The listing is published and paid, but your shop can't be paid yet because you haven't finished setting up payouts with Stripe. Buyers can't see it until you do.

Free-only listings aren't hidden: they show Live and stay on your shop page and in category pages. They don't appear in Esano search results or on Trending until payouts are set up. See sell a file for free.

When this is the case:

• Hidden listings are still counted under the Live tab on the Listings page; the badge on each row shows which ones are hidden.
• The row menu for a hidden listing doesn't offer View on Esano or Publish.
• On drafts, the editor says "Paid listings unlock once payouts are set up. Free-only listings can be published now." with a Set up payouts link.

Finish payout setup to clear it. See connect Stripe to get paid. Drafts still work while you wait, and the New listing button is labeled New draft until your shop can be paid.

Needs new file

The listing is live, but one of the files buyers download didn't pass its check. Buyers can't see the listing until a replacement is approved.

1. Open the listing. The editor lists each problem file with a reason, as the file name followed by the problem.
2. Remove the problem file and upload a corrected one.
3. When the new file passes, the badge returns to Live.

Removed by Esano

Esano took the listing off the marketplace. It no longer appears to buyers or in search. The editor says: "Esano removed this listing from the marketplace" and gives the reason when there is one, followed by "It can't be published again."

Shop suspended

When Esano suspends a shop, a notice appears across the Seller hub. Its listings can't be changed or published. The editor shows "Your shop is suspended, so this listing can't be changed or published." See why Esano hid, suspended or closed your shop.

Filter by status

On the Listings page, the tabs All, Live and Drafts each show a count. See find and filter your listings.
