Publish a listing so buyers can find it

To publish, open the listing and select Publish. The listing needs a title, category, price, description, at least one photo and at least one approved file. Paid listings also need payouts set up.

Publish from the editor

1. Go to Seller hub → Listings and open the listing.
2. Fill in anything missing from the table above.
3. Select Publish at the bottom of the editor.

Publish saves everything on the page first, so you never publish stale details. It then shows Publishing…, and the status line changes to "Published. Buyers can find it now." The status badge changes from Draft to Live, and a View on Esano link appears at the top.

Publish from the listings page

Open the ••• menu on a draft's row and select Publish. The row menu only offers Publish once your shop can be paid. A draft that still lacks something will show Missing: under its title, for example "Missing: photos, price". If you're not sure what's missing, open it in the editor.

If publishing fails

Esano shows the reason above the buttons:

• "Set up payouts before publishing. Buyers can only pay shops that are connected to Stripe." Connect payouts, or make the listing free-only. See connect Stripe to get paid and offer a listing for free.
• "Give the listing a title before publishing."
• "Choose a category before publishing. It decides where buyers find the listing."
• "Set a price before publishing."
• "Add at least one preview image before publishing." See listing photo requirements.
• "Upload the files buyers will download before publishing." See upload files to a listing.
• "Add a description (a sentence or two) before publishing." See listing title and description rules.
• "Esano removed this listing, so it can't be published again."
• "Your shop is suspended, so its listings can't be changed or published."

The Publish button is also disabled while your shop is suspended or the listing was removed by Esano, and while a paid listing waits on payouts. A short message with a Set up payouts link explains why.

After you publish

You can keep editing a live listing. See edit a listing. To take it down without deleting it, see unpublish or delete a listing. If you're on a shop team, publishing needs the Owner, Manager or Listings role. See shop team roles and what each can do.
