Your Personal price can be $0 (free) or anything from $1.00 to $1,000. To run a sale, enter the higher regular price in Original price. Prices are in US dollars.
Set the price
- Open your listing from Seller hub → Listings.
- Go to Price and licenses. Under Personal, type an amount in Price. The field accepts
12,12.50or$12.50. - Select Save changes.
The rules, which the editor checks as you type:
- $0 is free. See sell a file for free.
- Any paid price is at least $1.00. Below that you'll see "Use $0 for free or at least $1.00."
- The most you can charge for Personal is $1,000. Otherwise you'll see "Enter $0 for a free download, or $1.00 to $1,000."
- Use whole cents, such as
9.99.
You can save a draft with no price, but Publish needs one: "Set a price before publishing."
See what you earn
Under Price, the editor shows a live line such as "You earn $8.00 after Esano's 20% fee." Esano keeps 20% of the item price, and card processing is included in that fee. Payout fees from Stripe are separate. See how much you earn on each sale and Stripe payout fees explained.
Run a sale with Original price
Original price is optional and is labeled "For a sale".
- In Price and licenses, enter your regular price in Original price.
- Enter the lower sale amount in Price.
- Select Save changes.
Buyers see the original price crossed out beside your price, with a percent-off label. The original price must be higher than the price, and at most $5,000. Otherwise you'll see "The original price must be higher than the price." Esano marks the Commercial and Extended prices down by the same percentage.
To end the sale, clear Original price and save.
Cart minimum for buyers
A buyer's paid items need to total at least $3 before tax to check out, across all shops. A $1 listing can still sell, but the buyer adds other items to reach $3. Free downloads don't count toward this and are claimed separately. See the $3 cart minimum.
Change a price later
You can change the price of a live listing at any time. See edit a listing. To offer more license levels at different prices, see choose which licenses to offer. Your Personal price also drives price filters and sorting. See get your listing on the Under $10 page.
