Add dimensions, DPI and color space to a listing

File specs tell buyers the size and resolution of what they're getting. In File specs, add Dimensions, DPI and Color space. All three are optional.

The three fields

The section sits under Price and licenses and is labeled Size with the note: "Check what we read from your files and adjust."

• Dimensions: free text up to 40 characters. The example is 4000 × 4000 px.
• DPI: a whole number from 72 to 1200. The example is 300. Otherwise you'll see "Use a whole number from 72 to 1200."
• Color space: a menu with Not specified, sRGB, Adobe RGB, Display P3, CMYK and Grayscale.

What Esano fills in for you

When you upload a PNG or JPG in Files buyers download, Esano reads its pixel size, DPI and color space and fills in any of the three fields that are still empty.

If you haven't uploaded a PNG or JPG, the size of your cover photo is used as a hint for Dimensions. A size read from a real deliverable takes the place of one that came from a photo.

Esano only reads the first PNG or JPG you add during that editing session. It never replaces anything you typed. If you edit a field yourself, your value stays.

Always check the values. Esano reads the files, but you know what your buyers will use them for.

Add or edit specs

1. Open your listing from Seller hub → Listings.
2. Go to File specs.
3. Enter or correct Dimensions and DPI, and choose a Color space.
4. Select Save changes.

To clear a spec, empty the field, or choose Not specified for color space, and save.
