Photos show buyers what they're getting. The files you add under Files buyers download are what they actually receive. Esano treats the two very differently.

Photos in detail
When you select Add photos, you crop the picture in the Crop listing image window and select Use crop. You can change the zoom and position, or select Reset crop.
- The crop must be square and at least 1000 by 1000 px. If the image is smaller, Esano asks you to choose a larger image or zoom out.
- Images can be up to 40 megapixels.
- Animated images are refused.
- Esano keeps your original so you can adjust the crop later with Crop on the photo. Use Remove to delete it.
- Drag photos to reorder them. The first one is the cover, and it's the picture buyers see in search results and on cards. See crop, reorder and remove listing photos.

Files in detail
The downloadable files are never public. Each one passes a format check and a virus scan. Only buyers who bought the item can download it, and each time they select Download, Esano makes a new link that works for 60 seconds. See how Esano scans your files for viruses.
Photos go through the image check as well, but Esano converts them to WebP and publishes the cropped version for the site.
A photo isn't the delivered file
Because photos are cropped, shrunk to at most 2000 px and converted to WebP, a buyer who saves your photo doesn't get your original file. Put the full-quality file under Files buyers download.

- To change photos, add a new one and remove the old one in Photos.

Common questions
Do buyers get my listing photos when they buy?
No. Photos are only for showing the listing. Buyers receive the files you add under Files buyers download.
What size should my listing photos be?
Square photos at 2000 px or more look sharpest, and 1000 px is the minimum. Esano crops every photo to a square.
