A shop team can have up to 5 people besides the owner. Each person has one fixed role, invites last 7 days, and the shop's owner never changes.
Team size
- You can have up to 5 team members besides yourself.
- Pending invites count toward the 5, as long as they haven't expired.
- When the team is full, Invite someone is disabled and the page says "Your team is full (5 people). Remove someone or cancel an invite to add more."
To make room, remove someone or cancel an invite. Expired invites don't count, but bringing one back with Resend needs a free spot.
Invite rules
- An invite expires 7 days after it's sent. Resending gives it 7 more days.
- You can resend an invite once a minute.
- A shop can send at most 20 invite emails in 24 hours, counting resends.
- An invite only works for the email it was sent to, and that account's email must be confirmed.
- You can't invite your own email, someone already on the team, or an email that already has a pending invite.
- There is no approval step. When the person accepts, they join right away.
One role per person
Each member has exactly one role: Manager, Listings or Support. You can't create custom roles. See shop team roles and what each can do.
Ownership
- The shop owner is the person who opened the shop. Only the owner can see payouts, bank and tax details, vacation mode, Settings → Team and Settings → Your details.
- Esano has no ownership transfer and no co-owner role.
- The owner can't leave their own shop. Only team members can leave a shop.
What buyers see
Buyers never see team members. Everything your team does, such as replying to a message, shows as your shop. Inside the seller hub, a teammate's message shows "Sent by" and their name, but buyers don't see that line.
Email alerts for new buyer messages still go to the owner only.
Rules for team members
- Each member signs in with their own Esano account. Don't share logins.
- Members can't buy from, message, review or request custom orders from a shop they help run.
- Someone can help run several shops, and own one too. Each shop has its own role for them, and a sidebar switcher moves between shops.
- Team members who see orders don't see your earnings, fees or other payout details.
Your team's activity
The owner can check what everyone did, for the last 90 days. See see what your shop team has done.
