File types you can buy on Esano

Esano is a marketplace for digital files. Shops can sell the file types below, and every listing shows which ones you get. See check file types and sizes before you buy.

File types by group

Esano groups its file types the same way as the File type filter on the marketplace:

• Images: PNG, JPG (also .jpeg), WEBP, TIFF (also .tif)
• Vector: SVG
• PDF & printables: PDF
• Documents & ebooks: DOCX, ODT, EPUB
• Spreadsheets & data: XLSX, ODS, CSV, TSV, JSON, TXT
• Presentations: PPTX, POTX, ODP
• Fonts: TTF, OTF, WOFF, WOFF2
• 3D models: STL, OBJ
• Embroidery: DST, PES, PEC, JEF, HUS, VIP, VP3

How Esano knows a file's type

Shops don't pick the type labels. Esano reads each file after the shop uploads it and records the types it finds. For a ZIP, Esano lists the types inside it and also shows ZIP. Office documents such as DOCX keep their own label. The pictures or fonts embedded inside them aren't listed separately.

Esano doesn't change your files

The files you download are the files the shop uploaded. Esano doesn't convert them or resize them. A PNG stays a PNG, and an SVG stays an SVG. To use a file in another format, you need a converter in the app you're using.

Esano reads a file's type and checks that it's built correctly. It doesn't promise a file works in a particular app or machine, and it doesn't check print resolution (DPI).

Types Esano doesn't carry

Shops can't upload these types today:

• Design source files: EPS, AI, DXF, PSD, Procreate, Affinity, Figma and Sketch files
• Cutting and laser machine project files, such as Silhouette Studio (.studio3) and LightBurn files
• Other embroidery files: EXP
• 3D and CAD files: 3MF, Blender, STEP, DWG
• Archives other than ZIP: RAR, 7z, TAR, GZ
• Audio, video and software

If a listing's description says you get a file type that isn't in the list above, message the shop before buying.
