Do Esano download links expire?

Your Download button in Purchases and reviews doesn't expire. Each time you select it, Esano creates a new secure link that works for about a minute, so start the download right away.

What lasts and what doesn't

• Your access to the file stays as long as your order isn't refunded in full and the shop keeps the file attached to the listing.
• The button on Purchases and reviews works every time you're signed in.
• The secure link behind the button is private to you and lasts about 60 seconds. Once your download has started, it can finish.
• Links in emails point to the same download button. They check that you're signed in and still own the item, so they don't expire on a date, but they stop working after a full refund or if the shop replaces the file.

Is there a download limit?

Esano doesn't cap how many times you can download a file you bought. You can also download on more than one device.

Esano does log each download. If you later ask for a refund, the shop and Esano can see that the files were downloaded. See download access after a refund.

If a download doesn't start

Select Download again to get a fresh link. If it still fails, see fix a download link that doesn't work.

How big can a downloaded file be?

Shops can attach up to 5 files to a listing, and each file can be up to 1 GB. Large files take longer to save, so use a stable connection. Many shops package several files in one ZIP. See download several files or a ZIP.

Keep your own copy

Esano keeps your files in Purchases, but it's smart to save a copy in a folder or cloud drive you control. What you may do with your files depends on your license. See Esano license types explained.
