Download several files or a ZIP

Updated

When an item has several files, Download opens a list and you save each file one at a time. Many shops put their files in a ZIP, which you unzip after downloading.

Download each file from the list

  1. Open Purchases and reviews.
  2. Find the item and select Download.
  3. Choose a file from the list. Each row shows the file name and size.
  4. Repeat for every file you want.

A listing can include up to 5 files. A ZIP counts as one file in that list, no matter how many files are inside it.

What a ZIP is

A ZIP is one file that holds many files, for example a set of PNGs and an SVG. Esano checks every file inside a ZIP before a shop can sell it. A ZIP may only contain file types Esano accepts, so you won't find programs or scripts in it. Learn more in are Esano downloads scanned.

On Purchases and reviews, the file types shown for a ZIP item are the types inside the ZIP, with ZIP listed too.

Unzip on a computer

  • Windows: Right-click the ZIP and select Extract All, then Extract.
  • Mac: Double-click the ZIP. A folder appears next to it.

Open the new folder to find your files. Don't work from inside the ZIP window. Some apps can't open files until they're extracted.

Unzip on a phone or tablet

  • iPhone or iPad: Tap the ZIP in the Files app. A folder appears.
  • Android: Open the ZIP in Files by Google or your phone's file manager and choose Extract.

If a ZIP won't open

  • Download it again. A download that stopped early can leave a damaged ZIP.
  • Try another unzip tool, such as the built-in one on your computer.
  • Check that the file saved fully. It should match the size shown in Purchases and reviews.

If it still fails, message the shop from Purchases and reviews or see fix a file that won't open or looks wrong.

Common questions

Is there a Download all button?

No. When an item has several files, Download opens a list and you save each file one at a time.

Why does my ZIP ask for a password?

Esano doesn't accept password-protected ZIP files, so you shouldn't need one. Message the shop if a file asks for a password.
