Review guidelines and what gets removed

Write about the item you bought: the files, how they worked and what you made. Esano doesn't accept links or email addresses in reviews, and Esano can remove any review that breaks the rules below or the Terms of Use.

Rules Esano checks when you post

• No links, web addresses or email addresses. The form shows "Links and email addresses aren't allowed. Remove them and try again." This includes text that looks like a web address, such as a name followed by .com.
• Stay within the length limits. Text needs 20 to 2,000 characters if you write any.
• Language. Strong profanity can be flagged for Esano's team to check.

If your review has a link or an email address, change that part and select Post review or Save review again.

What to keep out of your review

Esano's Terms of Use set content standards for everything members post. A review shouldn't:

• Be defamatory, obscene, abusive, harassing, hateful, violent or otherwise offensive.
• Promote violence, discrimination or illegal activity.
• Share someone else's personal details.
• Be an ad or a promotion for something else.
• Be likely to deceive people, or pretend to be someone you're not.
• Include material you don't have the right to share, including photos. See add a photo to your review.

Reviews should be about the item

Good reviews say what you made with the file and how the files worked for you. Posts that aren't about the item you bought can be reported as "Not about this item".

If something went wrong with your purchase, you can message the shop or request a refund. Those are often a faster fix than a low rating.

How reports work

Shops can report a review from their dashboard. They choose one of these reasons:

• Abusive or hateful
• Not about this item
• Shares personal details
• Links or spam
• Something else

Esano checks reports within 2 business days. The review stays up while Esano checks it. If a review breaks the rules, Esano can take it down. A review that's taken down no longer shows on the listing and no longer counts toward the rating. See how star ratings are calculated.
