Add a photo to your review

You can add one photo to your review. It must be a JPG, PNG or WebP image up to 10 MB, and at least 500 × 500 pixels. Photos are optional and work best when they show what you made with the file.

Add a photo

1. Open the account menu in the site header and select Purchases and reviews. Can't find the item? See find and search your purchases.
2. Select Write a review next to the item. If you already reviewed it, select Edit review.
3. Choose your rating and write your review if you like.
4. Select Add a photo and choose an image from your device.
5. Optional: select Crop photo to choose a square crop. If you skip this, Esano keeps the full image.
6. Select Post review, or Save review if you're editing.

The form reminds you: "Optional. A photo of what you made. JPG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB; at least 500 × 500 pixels."

Photo rules

• File types: JPG, PNG or WebP.
• File size: up to 10 MB.
• Size in pixels: at least 500 × 500.
• Number of photos: one per review.
• Shape: you can keep the full image or choose a square crop.

If your image doesn't meet these rules, Esano shows: "Use a JPG, PNG or WebP image up to 10 MB." If it can't be opened, you'll see: "That image couldn't be opened. Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP."

What Esano does with your photo

Esano checks the photo before it appears on your review. While that check runs, you may see a File checks list under the form, with a Cancel button. If a check fails, you can retry it or cancel the upload.

After the check, Esano removes extra data embedded in the photo, such as GPS location, and saves a copy in WebP format. Large photos are resized to fit within 1,600 pixels on each side.

Replace or remove your photo

You can change or remove your photo while you can still edit your review:

1. Select Edit review next to the item in Purchases and reviews.
2. Select Replace photo to upload a different image, or Remove photo to take it off the review.
3. Select Save review.

When a photo is replaced or removed, or when you delete the review, Esano deletes the old photo from its storage.

Where your photo shows

Your photo appears as a small thumbnail on your review. Shoppers can select it to see a larger version. The photo is part of the review, so if Esano takes the review down, the photo goes with it. See where your review appears.
