How Esano protects your data

Updated

Esano uses measures designed to protect your personal information from loss and from unauthorized access, use, change and disclosure. Your own habits matter too, and no site can guarantee perfect security.

What Esano says it does

Esano's privacy policy says it has put measures in place to secure your personal information. It does not store credit card information. Your account's Payments settings list Cards as "No saved cards."

The policy also notes that sending information over the internet is never completely secure. Esano says it cannot guarantee the security of information you send to the site, and that any transmission is at your own risk.

What you can do

The policy says your information's safety also depends on you.

  • Keep your password private. Don't share it with anyone.
  • Use a strong password. Passwords on Esano need at least 8 characters. See Esano password requirements.
  • Be careful on shared computers. The Terms of Use ask you to take care on public or shared computers so others can't see or record your password or personal information.
  • Don't stay signed in on a shared device. Leave Stay signed in unchecked when you sign in. Then the sign-in cookie is removed when you close the browser.

Change your password

  1. Open Your account → Account settings → Security.
  2. Under Password, enter your Current password.
  3. Enter a New password and Confirm password.
  4. Select Change password.

For a fuller walkthrough, see change your Esano password.

Sign out everywhere

If you lost a device or signed in on a shared computer:

  1. Open Your account → Account settings → Security.
  2. Under Signed-in devices, select Sign out of all devices.

That signs you out everywhere, including the device you are using. For more on keeping your account safe, see keep your Esano account secure.

Report a problem

If you think your account was accessed without your permission, or you spot something suspicious, email customerservice@esano.com or call 888-463-7051. See what to do if someone else accessed your account and Contact us.
