How Esano uses your information

Esano uses the information it collects or that you provide to:

  • Show you the site and its contents. This includes internal business purposes such as fraud and threat detection, and marketing to you.
  • Give you the information, products or services you ask for.
  • Carry out the purpose you gave the information for.
  • Send you notices about your account.
  • Meet its obligations and enforce its rights under its agreements with you, including billing and collection.
  • Tell you about changes to the site or to products and services.
  • Do anything else it describes when you provide the information, or anything you agree to.

Who Esano may share it with

The policy says Esano may disclose personal information:

  • To its subsidiaries and affiliates.
  • To contractors, service providers and other third parties that help run the business. They are bound by contract to keep the information confidential and use it only for the purpose it was shared.
  • To a buyer or successor if Esano L.L.C. is sold, merged or reorganized.
  • To third parties that want to market their products or services to you, if you have not opted out. Here is how to opt out.
  • To carry out the purpose you gave it for. For example, if you use an email feature on the site, Esano sends the message and your email address to the recipients.
  • With your consent.

Esano may also share aggregated and de-identified information about users without restriction.

When Esano may be required to share it

  • To comply with a court order, law or legal process, including a government or regulatory request.
  • To enforce its Terms of Use and other agreements, including for billing and collection.
  • If it believes disclosure is needed to protect the rights, property or safety of Esano, its customers or others.

Does Esano sell my personal information?

Esano's privacy policy says it does not currently sell data in a way that triggers Nevada's opt-out requirements. You can ask about opting out of sharing at customerservice@esano.com.

Does Esano share my data with law enforcement?

The policy says Esano may disclose personal information to comply with a court order, law or legal process, including government or regulatory requests.
