Esano does not use analytics cookies. It does use a sign-in cookie, and its privacy policy says it may use cookies and web beacons to recognize you and improve the site.
Cookies that keep you signed in
When you sign in, your browser stores a cookie that lets Esano know it's you as you move between pages.
On the sign-in window, Stay signed in controls how long it lasts. If you leave it unchecked, the sign-in cookie is removed when you close your browser. See why Esano signed me out if you keep getting signed out.
How Esano measures what people look at
Esano records some activity to understand what buyers look for:
- When a product card is shown on screen for a moment, and when someone clicks it.
- Searches people submit, how many results came back, and which filters were used.
- Visits to a shop or listing page, counted for the seller's stats.
Esano's own measurement of product views, clicks and searches does not use cookies, local storage, persistent visitor IDs, your IP address, your browser details or your account. It cannot follow you from one visit to the next, and it cannot link a click to a later purchase.
Search text is shortened, and common emails, web addresses and phone-like numbers are removed before it is saved. Esano's records of these searches are not visible to sellers or the public.
Shop and listing visit counts show a seller a total and a broad source, such as search or category pages. They do not show who visited. Visits from the shop's owner and team are not counted. Read what sellers can see about you.
Web beacons
Pages and emails may contain small files called web beacons. The privacy policy says they let Esano count visitors to a page or opens of an email, and check that its systems work.
Third-party cookies
The privacy policy says some content on the site, including ads, may be served by third parties that use their own cookies and tracking. Esano does not control those technologies. Contact the provider for questions about a specific ad.
Refuse or limit cookies
You can set your browser to refuse all or some cookies, or to warn you when one is set. Your browser's help pages show how.

Does Esano use analytics cookies?
