To change your bank account, go to Seller hub → Payouts and select Manage on Stripe. Stripe keeps your bank details and Esano never sees them, so you change them in your Stripe dashboard.
Change your bank account
- Open Seller hub and select Payouts.
- Select Manage on Stripe at the top of the page. Stripe opens in a new tab.
- In your Stripe dashboard, open your bank account details.
- Add the new account or edit the existing one. Follow Stripe's prompts to confirm it.
- Go back to Payouts and refresh the page.
- In Payout account, check Paid to. It shows the bank's name and the last four digits of the account.
Only the shop owner can do this. Team members can't see Payouts or bank details. See shop team roles and what each can do.
Before the next payout Friday
Make the change before the next payout Friday so the payout goes to the right account. Check Available for the next date. See payout schedule and the $25 minimum.
If you're about to close the account you were paid into, change your payout account first so the payout has somewhere valid to go.
If Manage on Stripe asks for more information
If your Stripe account still needs something, Manage on Stripe takes you back into Stripe's setup steps instead of your dashboard. Finish them first. See Stripe says action needed or not finished.
What about the Schedule row?
Payout account also shows Schedule. It may say Manual. That is expected, because Esano sends bank payouts on its own schedule: every other Friday.
If a payout fails because of wrong details
A payout sent to wrong or closed details can fail or come back. The money stays owed to you and Esano retries after the details are fixed. If incorrect bank details you provided caused the failure, Stripe's fee for it is deducted from a payout. See fix a failed or returned payout.
Protect your account
- Enter bank details only on Stripe's site.
- Never email an account number to anyone, including Esano.
- If you didn't change your bank account but Paid to looks wrong, email customerservice@esano.com right away.
