Who can use Esano?

You can use Esano if you are 18 or older and live in the United States or one of its territories or possessions. To sell, the seller terms also cover the United States and its territories, but shop setup currently accepts only United States as your country of residence, with a US Stripe account.

Age

The Terms of Use say Esano is offered to users who are 18 or older. By using the site, you confirm you are old enough to form a binding contract with Esano. If you don't meet that requirement, you must not use the site. See Minimum age to use Esano.

The terms also ban using Esano to exploit or harm minors, or to ask minors for personal information.

Location

The terms say Esano is for people located in the United States and its territories. Esano makes no claim that the site is legal or appropriate to use elsewhere. If you access it from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for following local laws.

For purchases, you also confirm that your order is for final delivery to a location in the United States or its territories. See buyer terms for online purchases.

Payments at launch

Checkout is in US dollars and accepts only US-issued cards at launch. See Payment methods and currency on Esano.

Sellers

To become a seller, you also need to:

• Be located in the United States or its territories. The Retailer Terms and Conditions include this as a promise from every seller.
• Be based in the United States for now. Shop setup only offers United States as your country of residence, and you need a US Stripe account with a US bank account. See Can I sell on Esano from outside the US?
• Provide your legal name and country of residence. You don't need a business. You can sign up as an individual creator.
• Provide a tax ID for 1099-K reporting and a valid email address, and connect a Stripe account. See seller terms in plain language and What you need to open a shop.

One account, one person

Your account is personal to you. The terms don't allow you to give anyone else access with your username, password or other security information. If you suspect someone used your account, tell Esano right away. See keeping your account secure.
