Who can sell on Esano

You can sell on Esano if you are at least 18, based in the United States, and able to connect a US Stripe account. You do not need a registered business.

Seller requirements

• Age: You must be at least 18. Setup asks for your date of birth and shows "You need to be at least 18 to sell on Esano" if you are younger.
• Country: Your country of residence must be the United States. The seller terms cover the United States and its territories, but United States is the only country setup offers right now.
• Payouts: Esano pays sellers through Stripe, and the Stripe account must be a US account.
• An Esano account: It is free. Setup asks you to sign in or create one first.
• Rights to your files: Everything you sell must be your own work or work you have the rights to sell. See copyright and original work rules for sellers.

Do I need a business?

No. Esano's seller page says you can sign up as an individual creator. During setup you give your legal first and last name and your country of residence. Esano's seller terms also say Esano needs a tax ID number for 1099-K tax reporting and a valid email address for notices. See Form 1099-K and your Esano sales.

Can I sell from outside the United States?

Not yet. Esano's seller terms say sellers must be located in the United States or its territories. The setup form currently offers only United States as a country of residence.

Where you shop as a buyer does not affect this. The limit applies to opening a shop and getting paid. See can I sell on Esano from outside the US.

Can I have more than one shop?

An Esano account can start one shop. If you try to open a second shop with the same account, setup tells you that you have already started a shop with this account.

You can still help run other people's shops. A shop owner can invite you as a team member, and you work in their shop with your own account. See accept an invite to join a shop team for how that works.

Does selling cost anything?

No. Opening a shop is free and there are no listing fees. Esano charges a fee only when you make a sale. See what fees Esano charges sellers for the details.
