Payment methods and currency on Esano

Esano checkout is in US dollars and accepts US-issued cards only at launch. Payment is by card, and there are no other payment methods at checkout.

What you can use

• Card: A card issued in the United States.
• Currency: US dollars (USD). Prices on listings, in your cart and at checkout are all in USD.

Esano shows a reminder on the payment page: "USD checkout accepts US-issued cards only at launch." The cart drawer shows the same notice above the Check out button.

How paying works

1. Add items to your cart and select Check out in the cart drawer.
2. Esano opens a secure payment page run by Stripe, which processes all payments on Esano.
3. The page lists your items. Each one shows its title, the license and the shop name.
4. Enter your card details and pay.
5. Esano returns you to Purchases and reviews, where your files appear.

You must be signed in before checkout opens. See do I need an account to check out. Pay only at Esano checkout, and see never pay outside Esano if anyone asks you to pay somewhere else.

What happens with a non-US card

Esano checks the country the card was issued in after you pay. If the card was not issued in the US, Esano cancels the payment instead of completing it. You aren't charged, and the files are not added to your purchases.

Pay again with a US-issued card by selecting Check out in your cart drawer. Your items stay in the cart until an order is paid. For other payment trouble, see what to do if your payment is declined or fails.

Taxes and fees

Item prices don't include sales tax. Where tax applies, it is added at checkout. Read sales tax at checkout.
