Not right now. Selling on Esano is currently available only to sellers based in the United States, with a US Stripe account.
What the US-only rule covers
- New sellers must be based in the United States and have a US bank account.
- You choose your country when you open your shop. United States is the only supported choice for new sellers.
- Your Stripe account is checked too. If Stripe shows it as a non-US account, setup stops and you see: "Selling on Esano is currently available only to sellers based in the United States, with a US Stripe account."
- Esano can't set up Stripe's tax reporting for a shop with a non-US account.
This is a rule for the launch. See who can sell on Esano for every seller requirement.
Tax setup for US sellers
US sellers give their tax details to Stripe when they set up payouts, and Esano requests Form 1099-K reporting on their account. Read Form 1099-K and your Esano sales and add your tax information in Stripe to see what that involves.
Buyers outside the US
The seller rule doesn't change who can browse or buy. At launch, checkout is in USD and accepts only US-issued cards. See payment methods and currency on Esano for what that means for buyers.
If your shop was set up in another country
Existing shops keep access to their history. For an account that doesn't pass the US check, Esano doesn't start new payouts. If this describes you, contact Esano support at customerservice@esano.com and they can help.
