Claim free downloads

Free files go through your cart like any other item, but you claim them without paying. You need to be signed in.

Claim a cart that only has free items

1. Add the free items to your cart.
2. Open your cart drawer.
3. Select Claim free downloads.

Esano opens your Purchases and reviews page. The page shows "Payment received. Your files are ready to download." and the items appear there with an order number. No card is involved.

If you aren't signed in, the drawer asks you to sign in first. Your cart is saved. See do I need an account to check out.

Claim free items when your cart also has paid items

Free items never count toward the $3 cart minimum. What you do depends on your paid total:

• Paid items are $3 or more. Select Check out. Everything in your cart goes through the same checkout, and you pay only for the paid items.
• Paid items are under $3. Select Claim free items separately. Esano claims only the free items and leaves the paid ones in your cart. Add more to reach $3 when you want to buy them.

What you get

Claimed free items appear under Purchases and reviews in your account menu, grouped by shop, with the license you chose. You can find and search them there and download your files.

Free items leave your cart once claimed.

When a free claim doesn't work

• "Free items could not be claimed. Refresh your cart and try again." Close and reopen the drawer, then try again. Items from a shop on vacation, from your own shop, or no longer for sale aren't claimed.
• "Too many checkout attempts. Wait 10 minutes and try again." See too many checkout attempts.
