Licenses for custom orders

On a custom order, you tell the shop how you'll use the files, and the shop's quote names the license. Check the license on the quote before you accept and pay.

Step 1: say how you'll use the files

When you send a custom request, the form asks How will you use them? You choose one:

• Personal: "My own event, home, or a gift"
• Commercial: "For clients, or products I sell"

Your answer tells the shop what kind of license you need.

Step 2: check the license on the quote

The shop replies with a quote. The quote lists what's included and shows the license, for example "Personal license". A shop can quote any of the three: Personal, Commercial or Extended.

The license names match the listing licenses. See Esano license types explained for what each one allows.

Your request page shows the quote's license in the quote details. It also shows the use you chose under Use.

Step 3: accept and pay

1. Open the quote from your custom requests.
2. Check the files, delivery time, revisions and license.
3. Select Accept and pay, then pay at checkout. See Accept and pay for a custom order.

Once the quote is paid, it's locked. Check the license first.

If the license doesn't fit your use

If the quote shows a license that is too small for what you need:

1. Select Message shop on the request page.
2. Tell the shop how you plan to use the files.
3. Ask for a new quote with the license you need.

You can also select Decline quote if you don't want to continue.
