Sell products made with Esano files

To sell products you make with an Esano file, you need a Commercial or Extended license. The Personal license doesn't allow selling anything made with the files.

Which license do you need?

• Personal: doesn't allow selling.
• Commercial: allows products you sell, up to 5,000 units across all products.
• Extended: allows products you sell with no unit cap, including print-on-demand stores.

For a small handmade shop, Commercial usually fits. If you expect to pass 5,000 units, buy Extended. If a print-on-demand service makes and ships your products, see Use Esano files for print-on-demand.

What counts as a product you sell

The license wording says "products you sell". It doesn't list product types. A printed shirt, mug or sticker sheet you sell is a product made with the files, so it needs a Commercial or Extended license.

The license text doesn't spell out every kind of product. That includes digital products that contain the artwork, such as a template or a planner. If your product is mostly the file itself, ask the shop before you buy. Ask a shop about a license shows how.

What you can't sell

You can't sell, share or give away the original files as they are. This applies to every license, including Extended. That means you can't:

• List the downloaded file, or a copy of it, for sale
• Include the file in a free pack
• Use the file in an AI training set

Count your units

Commercial counts units across all products, not per design. A sticker sheet you sell and a shirt you sell both count toward the same 5,000.

Steps before you start selling

1. Open the listing page and check the License and usage section.
2. Choose Commercial or Extended under Choose a license.
3. Select Add to cart or Buy it now.
4. After you pay, download your files from Purchases and reviews. See Download files you bought.
