Esano emails you "You made a sale" when someone pays for an order from your shop. The email goes to the email address on the shop owner's Esano account.
What the email says
The subject reads "You made a sale", followed by the first item's title and "and 2 more" if the order has more items. Inside you'll see:
- Your shop name, the order number (like E-10482) and the date.
- Each item with its picture, license and price.
- Subtotal, Esano fee and You earn.
- A note about the hold: your earnings become eligible after the 14-day hold, then bank payouts follow the published schedule and a $25 minimum after deductions.
- A View in Seller hub button that opens your Orders page.
The email is sent from orders@updates.esano.com. It doesn't include the buyer's name or email. To see who bought, open the order.
When it's sent
Esano sends the email once the buyer's payment goes through. If an order has several of your items, you get one email for the whole order. If a buyer buys from several shops at once, each shop owner gets their own email with only their items.
Paid custom orders also send this email. The note under the totals then says the 14-day hold starts from final delivery, and the button takes you to the custom order.
If the email didn't arrive
- Check your spam or promotions folder for a message from
orders@updates.esano.com. - Open Orders in your Seller hub. If the order is listed, the sale is real, whether or not the email arrived.
- Make sure the email address on your Esano account is one you check. See change your email address on Esano.
- If an email was held up, Esano tries again later, so a late arrival is possible.
If the order isn't in your list, the buyer's payment hasn't gone through yet. Unfinished checkouts never show up in Orders. See view and filter your orders.
Other emails you might get
Esano also emails shop owners about buyer messages, refund requests and custom orders. Those are separate emails, listed in emails you get from Esano as a seller. Stripe may also send you its own emails about your payout account.
