Ask a question about a listing

Use Ask a question under Questions about this file to ask about a listing before buying. Questions become public with your first name when the shop answers.

Post your question

1. Open the listing and find Questions about this file.
2. Read existing answers and the listing's common questions.
3. Select Ask a question and sign in if asked.
4. Write your question, then select Post question.

Write between 10 and 300 characters. Do not include email addresses, phone numbers or links. You can ask up to five questions a day. You cannot ask on listings from a shop you own or help run.

Ask about formats, included files, software compatibility or license options. For a private order, refund or custom-work discussion, select Message the shop in the question window instead.

Find the answer

Until answered, your question appears on that listing only to you while signed in. It says it is waiting for the shop and that Esano will email you when they answer. The shop can see it to respond.

An answered question appears publicly with your first name and its date. The shop's answer includes its name and date. Updated answers can show Edited. The first three answered questions appear first; use Show all N questions for more.

Esano emails you when the shop first answers. If the shop responds privately instead, look in Messages. Shops can also hide questions; a submitted question is not guaranteed a public answer.

Keep private details in messages

Do not put an order number, address or payment information in a public question. Use Message a shop for order support. A public answer does not change the license you bought or guarantee your software supports the files.

Report an answered question

Select Report below the public question and sign in if asked. Choose Spam, Contact info, Off-topic or Other, then submit the report. You can report a question once; Esano reviews it. A report does not guarantee removal.
